At Timber Trail Lodge, we have been outfitting fishermen and women from our resort since 1939. Our pristine lakes are noted for their Walleye, Bass and North en Pike fishing. In 2009, we experienced one of our best seasons ever for fishing on our chain of lakes. We have many guests who return year after year for their annual Northern Minnesota fishing vacation. Here at Timber Trail Lodge we are about as close to fishing Canada as you can get without going into Canada. Some of North America's Finest Fishing- While there is never a guarantee with fishing, the Boundary Waters offers some of the finest fishing in North America, You could easily be fishing an area that has not been fished for years, and with the vast array of wilderness lakes, stream and rivers available you will not be competing for prime fishing locations. Guide Services- Our guides at Timber Trail Lodge spend over 150 days each summer fishing our chain of four interconnected lakes and the Boundary Waters. A guided fishing trip can be the highlight af any vacation to Northern Minnesota. As the owner of Timber Trail Lodge and having grown up fishing myself, I am never disappointed when I myself hire our guide to help me enjoy a day of motorized Boundary Waters wilderness fishing. And, in the event you are not interested in a guided fishing trip, our guides are available for advise and information to help you experience and enjoy a day or week of exploring and fishing our many local motorized and non-motorized fishing lakes. Fishing Packages- Timber Trail Lodge has a variety of Fishing Packages for you to choose from that include accommodations, boats and motors, guided fishing trips, bait, lake maps and "professional advice." During the prime fishing seasons we offer "Spring" and "Fall" discounts for guests wishing to experience Northern Minnesota fishing at it's finest. We can offer trips that are species specific, include multiple days of guided fishing, and include both motorized and canoe fishing trips into the Boundary Waters.
